The facility lies in a beautiful environment of the protected landscape region Little Carpathians. The stone Castle Červený Kameň, originally a king castle from the half of 13th century functioned as part of a fortified castle line on the west border of Austria. In the 16th century Pálffy family acquired the castle, rebuilt it and transformed it into a Renaissance-Baroque palace full of magnificent interiors. Nowadays you can see a permanent exhibition of historical furniture and weapons there.
